This series of drawings and paintings is an aesthetic exploration of the fractal and scaled assembly of objects and beings in their own form for perception of the human eye through drawn line and brush stroke.
“The California's” is use to talk about Baja California Sur and Baja California Mexico, as well as California US.
About Overlay signify. I use it as a transparency placed over something marked whit additional information to cover it total or partially.
The Trend concept for the project is about overlay, transparency, or union between these two cultures Mexican and American making a portrait from this reality, from the stigma this place have or the traumas that this relationship had been far away. The idea is to show the union between countries both sides of the California's border; border culture is fussed by the overlay and interaction of each of the very aspects of their daily assembly. All this with the point of view of a foreigner in his own land.
